The colurs are based on a reference pic Jk provided me with and the background was something i whipped up using a stock image from Manga Studio and Photoshop.

this is awesome dude! the different shadings is sweet,especially on their skin.. and good background too! 
i'm really liken the change you gave to the text..
i will say though, that you've mistaken Jess' right shoulder as her hair
that and her other sleeve should be grey, not blue besides that, i loves it!! 8D
